Axe Armor

TheAxe Armor orArmored Axe (Japanese:アクスアーマーAxe Armor) is abasic armoredclass debuting inFire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War. It is one of four weapon-specific variations of theKnight, specializing in the use ofaxes, and appears only inGenealogy of the Holy War,Thracia 776,Radiant Dawn, andEngage. It is statistically near-identical to its counterparts, theSword Armor,Lance Armor andBow Armor.
It is a playable class only inThracia 776 andEngage, wherein itpromotes toGeneral; while not playable inRadiant Dawn without hacking, the axe-specificAxe General would be its hypothetical class-changed form and does havea playable member. Through modifying the game, it can be seen that Armored Axes do indeed promote toAxe General inRadiant Dawn.

- InFire Emblem Heroes, generic axe-wielding armored units are known as Axe Armors in the Japanese version, but the English version translated it asAxe Knight rather than Axe Armor.
