There are two different variations of Ash available toHeroes, both of which are tied to her storyline appearance inHeroes. The normal variation of Ash is a Mythic Hero, added to the cast of the game at the launch of Book VI, and is the first original character introduced in that book to be playable; she was made available for summoning as part of the summoning focus surrounding the Book VI update, and became available for summoning by players on December 7, 2021, and a 5★ Ash can also be obtained by clearing Chapter 1 of Book VI (released the same day). A New Year's-themed variation of Ash was made available between the period of January 1, 2023 through February 1, 2023 as part of the summoning event surrounding theGods Renewed update.

Ash: Borrowed Power, the first Entwined Hero, was first made available from September 16, 2025 – October 6, 2025 as part of theNew Heroes: Entwined Ash, Attuned & Rearmed Heroes summoning event. She was the first Hero to come withFlame Wall. Her personal weapon is theEntwining Horn, and her personal skill isHeir of Openness.

Ash is fought in theTempest Trials+ eventAskr's Kin Pt. 3 and appears in its story sequences.

Personality

Ash takes time to word each of her statements to the best of her ability, almost as if afraid to be misunderstood.^[1] She seems to be nervous much of the time, as evidenced earlier by taking care to enunciate herself properly and by her first few statements after arriving in Midgard.^[2] Despite her nervousness, it does not stop her from continuing her mission, promising to aid the mortals of Midgard however she can.^[3] She does not tolerate impoliteness whether it comes from her or someone else, further explaining her wordiness and behavior toward others.^[4] Considering her anxiety, she seems not to struggle with conviction at all, as proven with her straightforward statement of needing to stop Embla. Overall, Ash comes across as an amicable person, exemplified bySharena's statement in Meet the Heroes.^[5]

An unknown force wiped out a village on the border of Askr and Embla, and we went to investigate. Near the scene, we met a Hero we'd never heard of before—and that's who I'll be talking about today. Here's Ash!	Ash told us she's a retainer to the god Askr, and she was sent to save us! By the way, have you heard of Askr? He's the legendary dragon who shared his power with us mortals!	You'd think someone working for a legendary dragon would be a little more...stuffy, but Ash is surprisingly personable. She seems like someone who I could get along with!	According to Ash, the dragon Embla has set a plan in motion to wipe out everyone who carries Askr's blood. Well, you can leave it to the Order of Heroes to make sure Embla's plans don't come to fruition!

That gorgeous white kimono and headdress look absolutely fantastic on her. She's also carrying a hagoita with a cow design. I love how personalized it is!	By the way, Ash's kimono has a special customization—it's got a hole for her tail, just like Askr's New Year outfit!
