TheArms Scroll (Japanese:術書Technique Book) is an item that first appeared inFire Emblem: Path of Radiance and has appeared in every game fromPath of Radiance toFates. It raises the user'sweapon levels, though the specifics vary depending on the game. It can be seen as a successor to theManual item found inFire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light andMystery of the Emblem.
In most of its appearances, only the weapon type belonging to the currently equipped weapon may be boosted in this way; as such, it cannot be used to raisestaff level inPath of Radiance,Shadow Dragon orNew Mystery of the Emblem, where staves cannot be equipped. InAwakening andFates, however, the Arms Scroll will increase the levels of all weapon types available to the user's current class.
