TheArmorslayer (Japanese:アーマーキラーArmor Killer) is asword-type weapon in theFire Emblem series. This sword dealsextra damage against armored units, such asknights andgenerals, which, together with its low weapon level in most games, makes it a quite valuable weapon when battling armies. It began light, but it has become a somewhat heavy weapon with each new appearance, reaching a quite surprising weight of 17 inPath of Radiance.
The armorslayer first appeared inShadow Dragon & the Blade of Light, and it has since been in all games butGaiden,Radiant Dawn, andEchoes: Shadows of Valentia.

Trivia
- Despite Armorslayers not actually being an item inFire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, they are mentioned in thebonus damage tutorial in the English version of the game.[1] In the Japanese version ofRadiant Dawn,Hammers are mentioned instead of Armorslayers.
