Arcardo (Japanese:アルカルド ) is anEtrurian noble who has sided withBern and a semi-major enemy character inFire Emblem: The Binding Blade. He is initially in charge of the mining operations in theWestern Isles, and in that capacity first appears inChapter 11 of the western route where he sendsMorgan to deal withRoy and his army.
Later on, Arcardo is assigned to attempt to defend a location in Chapter 17. Should the player be taking theIlia route, Arcardo is tasked byMurdock to defend Castle Remi on the Etruria-Ilia border; should the player be taking theSacae route, he is instead tasked byBrunnya to defend the area ofTalas inSacae. In both cases, Arcardo will serve as the boss of Chapter 17 and thus lead forces to deal with Roy and his army as they head en route to their chosen location; regardless of whether Roy's army is headed toward Ilia or Sacae, Arcardo ends up defeated.
