Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn

TheAqqar (Japanese:アクゥアルAqqar) is a rarecrossbow weapon which appears only inFire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. It is the game's second-strongest crossbow; compared to the crossbow it immediately surpasses, theTaksh, the Aqqar has higher might but does not have acrit bonus.

Like the other crossbows but unlike regular bows, the Aqqar can attack adjacent and distant enemies alike. In exchange its damage calculation completely ignores the user'sstrength stat and is based only on its ownmight, giving it a fixed, mostly consistent damage output no matter who uses it. The Aqqar can only be used by members of theSniper,Marksman,Warrior, andReaver classes, like all crossbows.
