TheAltered Golem (Japanese:ゴーレム・改Golem Revision) is amonsterclass which debuted inFire Emblem: Three Houses. They are heavily armored mechanical figures that seem to have been created by theChurch of Seiros. It acts as a stronger successor to theGolem.

Though the Altered Golem lacks proper programmed stats, they tend to be defensively strong, having highdefense as well as three largehealth bars. Unlike most monsters, the Altered Golem attacks usinglances, which are made of powerfulmagic. Their skill in lances also makesswords comparatively ineffective against them due to possessing theSwordbreaker+ ability. Though theirresistance is lacking, theirbarrier ability,Anti-Magic Armor, provides them protection against magic attacks. However, they have lowspeed andmovement, and, like most monsters in the game, their large size prevents them from moving through one-space-wide areas, further limiting their mobility.
