Role
Alphand is situated on the gate ofMunster castle uponRaydrik's request. During the battle he mentions to an underling that he has misplaced hisPoison Tome and requests assistance in searching for it. Onturn 5 he is successful in locating it, thus allowing him to commence long-range attacks.
It is likely that he will be slain byCed during the events of the chapter; though it is possible forLeif's forces to engage and capture or kill him if they are swift.

Personality
Alphand appears to have recurring issues with misplacing his spell books; the soldier assisting him in searching for hisPoison Tome is exasperated when Alphand mentions he has lost it yet again. Alphand's underling is clearly annoyed by his bad bookkeeping but Alphand seems to either pay it no mind or is oblivious.[1] He is, notably, one of the only Loptrian priests to be openly thankful if he is captured and released byLeif's forces.[2]
