Herman Massa, b. 13 June 1902 – d. 20 July 1903, s/o Norman & Lizzie (Brown) Massa is buried in the Boiling Springs Cemetery, Putnam Co.,TN.

Norman Massa was born near Cookeville April 12, 1881. He received his education in the public schools, and married Miss Elizabeth Brown in 1901.
He was engaged in the mercantile business for several years, and was Register of the county from 1910-14. He has been prominent in the Republican Party of Tennessee for many years, been a member of the State Executive Committee, Chairman of the County Committee, and was Secretary of the Executive Committee of the 4th Congressional District for 4 years. He is now serving his 4th terms as postmaster of Cookeville. Memberships include the Shriners, Knights Templar, Lions Club and the Methodist church. He is one of Cookeville's most public spirited citizens.
