Nancy was born the daughter of the late John Warner and Marion Helen Brown. Nancy was a graduate of Flint Northern High School, Class of 1958, prior she attended Bentley before transferring. She was very involved in the Republican Party in Michigan and served as Genesee County Commissioner from 1977 to 1983. Nancy was a delegate to the 1976 and 1980 Republican National Convention for Ronald Reagan. Nancy relocated to Sarasota, Florida in 1983. In 1984, Nancy returned to Michigan to serve as the Executive Director for Reagan's re-election campaign. Her unyielding passion for our liberty and the protection and adherence to our Constitution was a driving force in her life. Nancy loved animals and was an avid animal rescue supporter. Nancy served as the Executive Directive of the Humane Society of Sarasota County in Florida. She also served on several non-profit Boards during her lifetime. In 2001, Nancy and her husband relocated to Murphy, North Carolina. Nancy loved gardening, canning, and a good political debate. Nancy was preceded in death by her loving husband of 25 years, Richard Trant in 2013 and her sister, Vivian DiPaolo. Nancy was of the Christian faith and looked forward to her Heavenly home with Jesus.
