The veteran Republican leader was a member of the Minor Judiciary and Constables Assn. and from 1948 to 1956 was commander of Sewickley Valley American Legion Post 4. He also was a member of Donald T. Campbell Post 5756, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the 107th Field Artillery Veterans Assn.
