Local Board 430 last night announced the names of men who have been notified to report for induction into the Army Saturday morning.
Under procedure established some weeks ago, the men will be given final examinations by an Army medical team at an induction station before they are accepted for service, according to draft officials.
Brig. Gen. Ames T. Brown, state director of Selective Service, has explained that men reporting for induction under the new system have had only preliminary or "screening" physical examinations.
It is to be expected, he said, that some will fail to mee t the Army's physical standards and will be sent home.
