Hey, love your asset pack. I purchased the Time elements bundle and RPGmaker MV/MZ time fantasy pack. The assets from the fantasy pack look... off compared to the time elements assets. The upscale for MZ/MV is just slightly too large and "faded" looking. They don't go with time elements at all :( I've tried all the variants of the sprites/images for the time fantasy pack and all of them are just off. Am I missing something? Or are they just not meant to be combined with time elements? Thanks
Yes the Time Fantasy and Elements are different styles, for the characters at least they aren't meant to work together.
You can mix the new Elements tiles with the old TF characters because they use the same tile-base-size and recoloring them to match is fairly straightforward. I've written a guide on how to match the colors here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/matching-tf-to-78045454
Hopefully that helps. thanks!
Thank you for the quick response! What I'm really after is essentially a handful of character sprites/assets that match the classic fantasy archetypes of warrior, priest, mage, knight, thief, etc. that are available in the Fantasy assets but in the elements style. If that's available somewhere I'd gladly buy it.
oh nice good to know , i really hoping for an action monster pack 2 with some bosses maybe end of this year :P ? I can wait another year till i start next project with these graphics. I bet the tileset is some kind of town or more dungeons ,it's what we need!
More weapons awesome! i wish for more attack move with them too but have more variety is fair enough!
Thanks for reminding me (this reply if also for anybody else who has the same issue):
We did update the generator to support mac OS, but it doesn't on every machine. From what I understand, it's possible that it has to do with some hardware compatibility layer, but we'd need more information. Please email or dm me with the details about your specific problem and it could be helpful.
Hopefully we can solve it, and when we do I'll edit this post.
For now we might have to say that the primary platform is windows and not all macs are guaranteed to be supported.
Thanks
Thank you for the quick response. Issue seems to be the same as many of the Mac users. When I go to app and double click it simply says "The application "Elements Character Generator.app" can't be opened. Looked at my settings to ensure third party apps are enabled and they are. I appreciate you looking into this.
Unfortunately, at least using the default generator, that won't work because the way the modular pieces are put together: all of the characters are the same height. However, you're welcome to manually edit them to create whatever you need, you might be able to make shorter characters by changing layer positions in an image editor like photoshop. Thanks!
