Bob Hillis is acon-running fan living inColumbus, OH who was married to fellowfanLiz Gross. He was one of the founders ofCentral Ohio Science Fiction Society (COSFS) in 1966 and theOlentangy SF Society. He co-chaired theColumbus in 1976Worldcon bid and a number ofMarcons. He was a member of theColumbus Cavalry,Columbus in 1985, andChicago in 1982. He chairedSmofcon 4. He was a member of theCommittee on Permanent Organization and Incorporation of WSFS and was on the Board ofChicon IV.
