آمریکاییها (بهانگلیسی:Americans) یامردم آمریکا (بهانگلیسی:American people) به اهالی کشورایالات متحده آمریکا اعم از بومی و دارندگان شهروندی این کشور گفته میشود.[۳۷][۳۸] آمریکاییها بر پایه شهروندی طبقهبندی میشوند در صورتی که از قومیتها و ملیتهای مختلفی تشکیل شدهاند.[۳۹] به غیر ازجمعیت بومی آمریکا، بهطور کلی همه آمریکاییها یا اجدادشان در پنج قرن گذشته به آمریکا مهاجرت کردهاند.[۴۰] با وجود ترکیب چند قومی آن،[۴۱][۴۲] فرهنگ مشترک اکثر آمریکاییها به عنوانفرهنگ غالب آمریکا،فرهنگ غربی تا حد زیادی از سنتهای مهاجراناروپای غربی وشمالی ترکیب شده را میتوان اشاره کرد.[۴۱]
علاوه بر این آمریکاییها و مردمان با تبار آمریکایی ایالات متحده در سطوح بینالمللی و در سایر کشورها زندگی میکنند. همانطور که بسیاری از آنان در کشورهای قارهآمریکای لاتین، شمالی، اروپا و نیز آسیا و اقیانوسیه پراکنده شدهاند که برآورد مهاجرین آمریکایی چیزی در حدود سه تا هفت میلیون نفر تخمین زده میشود، در خارج از کشور زندگی میکنند و به عنوانآمریکاییهای دور از وطن شناخته میشوند.[۴۳][۴۴][۴۵]
