Bristol Blenheim onSuurbritanniakergepommitaja. Selle konstrueeris ning seda tootis ettevõteBristol Aeroplane Company, lennuk oli eriti laialdases kasutsuesteise maailmasõja esimeses pooles. Tüüp 142 tegi oma esimese lennu aprillis 1935 ningõhujõudude ministeerium tellis Bristoliltõhuväe tarbeks selle modifitseeritud variandi pommituslennukiks Tüüp 142M. Sõjavägi sai lennukid kätte aastal 1937.
Blenheimi kaks varianti, Mk.I (Tüüp 142M) ja Mk.IV (Tüüp 149), täitsid ka hävituslennuki ülesandeid, kui neile lisati neli kuulipildujatM1919 Browning. Mõlemad mudelid olid kasutusel ka mujal maailmas ning neid valmistati litsentsi alusel kaJugoslaavias,Soomes jaKanadas.
