Su carrera empezó en 1981 con pequeños papeles y apariciones en series comoM*A*S*H*,V,Cagney & Lacey,Remington Steele,Miami Vice,Moonlighting yThe A-Team. Más tarde en la década de 1990 fue más conocido por sus papeles enThe X-Files,Law & Order,CSI yER. También protagonizó la web serieThe Booth at the End de la que hay dos temporadas.
