The Russian army has occupied Koptieve and made advances in Toretsk, Novoserhiyivka, Dyliyivka, Myrne, Razine, Vesele, and Komar in Donetsk Oblast’s Pokrovsk sector, the DeepState monitoring projectreported on Telegram on July 1.
The Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Troop Group previously noted that Russian forces are attempting to escalate their offensive on the Pokrovsk front, leveraging numerical superiority.

Russian attacks were recorded near the settlements of Yelyzavativka, Poltavka, Volodymyrivka, Novotoretske, and Malynivka, as well as near Myroliubivka, Luch, Sukhyi Yar, Hrodivka, Lysivka, Vdale, Orikhove, and Oleksiyivka.
On June 9, The Economist reported that Russian officers captured by Ukraine’s Armed Forces described Russia’s summer offensive as a “final push,” with Ukrainian intelligence indicating that Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk in Donetsk Oblast are key targets.
In late May, the U.S.-based Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reported that Russian forces significantly expanded their salient southwest of Kostiantynivka, particularly near Toretsk.
