    FromProto-Italic*noinolos, from*ne oinolos(literallynot (a) little one), from a diminutive ofProto-Italic*oinos(one), fromProto-Indo-European*óynos. Bysurface analysis,ne(not) +‎ūllus(any), literallynot any.[1]
