But as a terminus for the full service, an Old Oak terminus would have to replicate the functionality of Euston - it could be no smaller than Euston is planned to be, and equally in need of the grade-separated throat. Not only would this demand greaterland-take than has been allocated in the Phase 1 Act, but greaterland-take than at Euston as the whole station would be on new land.
