idag
- misspelling ofi dag
idag is accepted inRiksmål. Originally a continuation of pre-1938 Bokmål, it has developed into a separate, unofficial written standard used by people who reject the Bokmål spelling reforms of 1938 and 1959. These reforms were mostly further Norwegianisation of the Danish language used in Norway (like the reforms of 1907 and 1917). The 1938 reform was, unlike the previous ones, not only introducing new spellings (likesnø,etter,nå), but also removing the Danish ones (sne, efter,nu).
