This spelling does not follow the rule regarding double vowel clusters beginning with/i/ or/u/ as the first vowel (eg./ia/ or/ua/), which are typically retained at the start of a word or after two consecutive consonants then inserting⟨y⟩ or⟨w⟩ between the vowels.
