The etymology templates such as{{inh}},{{bor}},{{der}}, etc. take two language codes. The first code is alwaysthe language of the entry: when you write "From{{borrowed|en|la|coturnix}}.", you are saying thatTurnix is anEnglish term borrowed from Latin. Given that the genus was first described by the French scientistPierre Joseph Bonnaterre in 1791 back when scientists only wrote in Latin, that is simply not true.
