It says it is a symbol for litre (unit). AIUI, this is just a script version of the letterl. All Wikipedia says is that it is "sometimes used in mathematics and elsewhere" (e.g.ℓ-adic representations).Equinox◑00:00, 10 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
