This character is not to be confused with visually similar but unrelated (U+5E02) ("market;trade;city") which has five strokes and is written across the top of. Note that theMing typeface used in Japan and Korea as well as theKangxi dictionary uses a vertical dot instead of a slanting dot for the top component of (U+5E02, 5 strokes) and may appear to be similar with巿 (U+5DFF, 4 strokes) depending on the font used.
