More information

Compare the attestedPrakrit𑀘𑀢𑁆𑀢𑀭𑀺(cattari). The alteration was probably based off the Sanskrit accusativeचतुरः(caturaḥ) without a consonant cluster where intervocalict > y is expected, but could also be an abnormal numeral phonological development.
