Kathyrn Ann Bailey Hutchison (bornJuly 22,1943), usually known asKay Bailey Hutchison, is an American attorney, television correspondent, politician, diplomat, and the 22ndUnited States Permanent Representative to NATO from 2017 until 2021. A member of theRepublican Party, she previously was aUnited States Senator fromTexas from 1993 to 2013.
