TheZliczans (Czech:Zličané, Zličani,Czech pronunciation:[ˈzlitʃanɛː]) was a Slavic tribe in early medievalBohemia, divided by a river from the tribe of theBohemians.[1] They are mentioned in theChronicle of Dalimil.[2] In the 9th and 10th centuries their seat was inKouřim.[3] They likely held theVyšehrad castle in their frontier.[4] They were overpowered by thePřemyslid dynasty on 28 September 995, when the rulingSlavník dynasty was massacred by the Přemyslids.
