Zixing (simplified Chinese:资兴;traditional Chinese:資興;pinyin:Zīxīng) is acounty-level city inHunan Province, China, it is under the administration ofChenzhou prefecture-level City.
Located on the southeast of the province, it is near to the north of the Chenzhou city proper. The city is bordered to the northwest byYongxing andAnren Counties, to the northeast byYanling County, to the east byGuidong County, to the southeast byRucheng County, to the southwest byYizhang County, and to the west bySuxian District. Zixing City covers an area of 2,730.44 km2 (1,054.23 sq mi), and as of 2015, It had a registered population of 378,400 and a resident population of 345,100.[3] The city has twosubdistricts, ninetowns and twotownships under its jurisdiction, and thegovernment seat isTangdong Subdistrict (唐洞街道).[4]
