Zinc finger protein 180 is aprotein that is encoded in humans by the ZNF180gene.^[5]

Zinc finger proteins have been shown to interact withnucleic acids and to have diverse functions. Thezinc finger domain is a conservedamino acidsequence motif containing two specifically positionedcysteines and twohistidines that are involved in coordinatingzinc.Kruppel-related proteins form one family of zinc finger proteins.
