Zhaoyang District (Chinese:昭阳区;pinyin:Zhāoyáng Qū) is the onlydistrict and the seat of the city ofZhaotong, in the northeast ofYunnan Province, China. It borders the provinces ofGuizhou to the east andSichuan to the west.
Zhaoyang District bordersWeining County,Guizhou to the east,Ludian County andQiaojia County to the south,Jinyang County,Sichuan across theJinsha River to the west, andYiliang County,Daguan County andYongshan County to the north.[2]
Zhaoyang County has 3subdistricts, 10 towns, 3 townships and 4ethnic townships.[3]
