Alfredo Moreira Júnior (16 October 1907 – 10 April 1998), usually known asZezé Moreira, was a Brazilianfootball player andmanager who coachedBrazil at the1954 FIFA World Cup. He has the most coaching appearances inFluminense's history, with 467 managed matches for the Tricolor. His brothers also had a singular taste for football:Aymoré Moreira, winner of the1962 FIFA World Cup andAyrton Moreira, both of them successful coaches in theBrazilian football. In1976, asCruzeiro's manager, he won theCopa Libertadores.
Zezé Moreira was born inMiracema,Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
As a footballer, he played forSport Club Brasil, Palestra Itália (nowadaysPalmeiras),Flamengo andBotafogo.
Zezé Moreira managed several clubs, likeFluminense, Botafogo,Cruzeiro,Sport Recife andNacional of Uruguay. He was also the Brazil national team manager in 1952, 1954 and 1955.
