Zbu (Chinese:日部;pinyin:Rìbù), orShowu, is aGyalrong language spoken inSichuan, China.
TheKhalong Tibetan language has a Zbu/Showusubstratum, as evident from itsphonology andgrammar.[2]
Gates (2012: 105–106)[1] lists the following locations where Zbu is spoken. It is spoken by over 6,000 people in 28 villages.
