Zargari (orRomāno) is a dialect ofBalkan Romani, spoken inZargar region (Abyek district) of theQazvin Province of inIran by the ethnicZargari people. The language can be found in surrounding regions as well. It is one of the onlyIndo-Aryan languages still spoken in Iran, and is consideredendangered.[1] Zargari takes its name from the Persian word for "goldsmith" (زرگرzargar).
