Zalloutieh orAz-Zalloutiyah (Arabic:الزلوطية) is a municipality inSouthern Lebanon, located inTyre District, Governorate of South Lebanon.
According toE. H. Palmer,Kh. Zallûtiyeh meansthe ruin of pebbles.[1]
In 1881, thePEF'sSurvey of Western Palestine (SWP) found "large heaps of small stones" atKh. Zallûtiyeh.[2]
In 2014Muslims made up 100% of registered voters in Zalloutieh. 96.38% of the voters wereSunni Muslims.[3]
