Zürich Tiefenbrunnen railway station (German:Bahnhof Zürich Tiefenbrunnen) is arailway station in theSwiss city ofZurich. It is located on theLake Zurich right bank railway line, and is situated on the shore ofLake Zürich, in theSeefeld quarter of the city,[2] on the border betweenfare zones 110 and 140 ofZVV.[3]
TheZürichhorn lakeside park, with itsChinese Garden,Centre Le Corbusier, casino and steamer pier, lies some 700 metres (2,300 ft) north-west of the station.
The station has oneside platform and oneisland platform, served by three tracks, and the station building and entrance is on the west or lake side of the station. The platforms and entrances are connected by a pedestrian subway.
The station is served by the followingS-Bahn trains:[4][5][6]
Adjacent to the station is the terminus of lines 11 and 15 of theZurich tram system and route 33 of theZurich trolleybus system, all operated byVerkehrsbetriebe Zürich, the municipal transport operator for Zürich. The station is also served by regional bus routes of theAutobusbetrieb Zürich–Zollikon–Küsnacht (AZZK).[7][8][9]
Thepier across the station building is served by boats of theZürichsee-Schifffahrtsgesellschaft (ZSG), of both its Lake Zurich andRiver Limmat services.[2]
