Mohammad Yusof bin Apdal[1] (born 4 January 1960) is aMalaysianpolitician who has served as theDeputy Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation in the Unity Government administration underPrime MinisterAnwar Ibrahim and MinisterChang Lih Kang since December 2023 and theMember of Parliament (MP) forLahad Datu since November 2022.[2] He served as theDeputy Minister of Higher Education prior to the2023 cabinet reshuffle under MinisterMohamed Khaled Nordin from December 2022 to December 2023 as well as the Member of theSabah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) forLahad Datu from May 2013 to May 2018. He is a member and the Deputy Division Chief of Lahad Datu of theHeritage Party (WARISAN) and also the younger brother of the President of WARISAN, MP forSemporna and MLA forSenallang,Shafie Apdal.
