TheYou River (Chinese:右江;pinyin:Yòujiāng;lit. 'Right River'), also known as theYoujiang River, is a river ofGuangxi,China. It rises in easternYunnan and joins theZuo River ("Left River") nearNanning to form theYong River. These rivers form part of thePearl River system, which flows into theSouth China Sea nearGuangzhou, Guangdong province.
The river lends it name to the languageYoujiang Zhuang, the areaYoujiang District, Baise and to a universityYoujiang Medical University for Nationalities. Formerly,Baise Bama Airport was known as Baise Youjiang Airport between December 2006 and September 2013.
