Rafael Yerney Pinillo Ocoró (c. 1986) a Colombian professional reservepolice officer who serves asSecond Gentleman of Colombia since 7 August 2022 as the domestic partner of Vice PresidentFrancia Márquez.[1][2][3]

Born inBuenaventura, Cauca Valley. Pinillo is the current domestic partner of Francia Márquez since 2020.[4][5] In 2023 he graduated as a Professional Police Reserve Officer of theColombian National Police.[6][7]

On 7 August 2022, during the32nd Colombian presidential inauguration, Yerney became the de facto Second Gentleman of Colombia.[8][9][10] Being the second man in the role and the firstAfro-Colombian. As second gentleman, his role has been much more active than that of his predecessors. In May 2023, he accompanied his partner on his visits to Ghana, South Africa and Kenya.[11][12][13]

On 15 August 2023, he and his partner received theDuke andDuchess of Sussex at theVice Presidential House.[14][15] And on 18 August 2023, the Vice President, the Mayor of Cali,Alejandro Eder, and the First Lady of Cali,Taliana Vargas, joined in the farewell and gratitude.[16][17] On 20 July 2025, he accompanied the Vice President for the third consecutive year during the July 20th Parade, being described as the Vice President's unconditional supporter.[18] On September 2025, he accompanied the Vice President toAbuja, Nigeria, where they sought to strengthendiplomacy and economic relations betweenNigeria and Colombia.[19][20][21]
