TheYeniköy Synagogue (Turkish:Yeniköy Sinagogu), also known as theTiferet Israel Synagogue,[1] is aJewish congregation andsynagogue, located at 132 Köybaşı Avenue, along the northern part of theBosphorus in theYeniköy neighborhood ofIstanbul, in theIstanbul Province ofTurkey.
The synagogue, said to have been funded byAbraham Salomon Camondo in the late 19th century, was rejuvenated by the renewed presence ofJews who have moved into the area. The synagogue is open forShabbat services only.[2]
