Yengejeh Rural District (Persian:دهستان ينگجه)[3] is inHowmeh District ofAzarshahr County,East Azerbaijan province,Iran.[4] Its capital is the village ofYengejeh.[5]
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 6,264 in 1,553 households.[6] There were 6,567 inhabitants in 1,890 households at the following census of 2011.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 6,785 in 2,058 households. The most populous of its 10 villages wasKhanamir, with 2,381 people.[2]
