Yannik Paul (born 5 March 1994) is a Germanprofessional golfer who plays on theEuropean Tour. He claimed his first victory in his rookie season at theMallorca Golf Open.
Paul attended theUniversity of Colorado from 2013 to 2018.[2] He was also a member of the German team at theEuropean Amateur Team Championship in2014,2015,2016 and2017, playing alongside his twin brotherJeremy in 2015 and 2016.
Paul turned professional in May 2018. He finished runner-up at theRolex Challenge Tour Grand Final in 2021, securing his playing rights on the2022 European Tour, ultimately finishing ninth on the Challenge Tour Rankings.[3]
In October 2022, Paul claimed his first victory on the European Tour at theMallorca Golf Open. He birdied the final hole to win by one shot ahead ofNicolai von Dellingshausen andPaul Waring.[4]
Paul's twin brotherJeremy is also a professional golfer who plays on theKorn Ferry Tour, having previously played on thePGA Tour Canada.[5] He also won on thePro Golf Tour in 2018.[6] He and Jeremy also became the first pair of twins to play in aEuropean Tour event, when they both played in the 2016BMW International Open.[7]
