Yanis Moloud Rahmani Cordeiro (born 13 May 1995) is a Frenchfootballer who plays as aleft winger for Spanish clubMálaga CF.
Born inChampigny-sur-Marne to an Algerian father and a Portuguese mother,[1][2] Rahmani moved toSestao at the age of eight and joinedAthletic Bilbao's youth setup in 2005, aged ten.[3] He made his senior debut withthe farm team in the2012–13 season, inTercera División.
In August 2014, after finishing his formation, Rahmani was loaned toSegunda División B sideSestao River Club, for one year.[3] He subsequently served further loan stints atCD Tudelano,[4]SD Leioa and again back to Sestao[5] before leaving Athletic when his contract expired in 2017.
On 26 June 2017, Rahmani signed a two-year contract withCD Mirandés, still in the third division.[6] On 3 July 2019, he agreed to a two-year deal withUD Almería inSegunda División.[7]
Rahmani made his professional debut on 17 August 2019, coming on as a latesubstitute forGaspar in a 3–0 home defeat ofAlbacete Balompié.[8] On 2 September, however, he and fellow teammateMathieu Peybernes were loaned toCD Lugo forthe season.[9]
Rahmani scored his first professional goal on 9 February 2020, netting the opener in a 2–2 home draw againstElche CF.[10] On 1 September, he moved to fellow league teamMálaga CF on loan forthe season.[11]
On 30 July 2021, Rahmani agreed to a four-year contract withSD Eibar, also in the second division.[12] On 14 January 2024, he was loaned to fellow league teamCD Tenerife for the remainder ofthe season.[13]
On 28 August 2024, Rahmani terminated his link with theArmeros,[14] and returned to Málaga the following day.[15]
