Yakutsk Time (YAKT) is atime zone inRussia which is nine hours ahead ofGMT, and six hours ahead ofMoscow Time (MSK).[1]

The time zone coversSakha Republic (western part),Amur Oblast andZabaykalsky Krai.[1]

On 27 March 2011, Russia moved to year-rounddaylight saving time. Instead of switching betweenUTC+09:00 in winter andUTC+10:00 in summer, Yakutsk Time became fixed atUTC+10:00 until 2014, when it was reset back toUTC+09:00 year-round.[2]
