Yadukulakamboji orYadukulakambodi (yadukulakāmbhōji) is arāgam inCarnatic music (musical scale of South Indian classical music). It is ajanya rāgam (derived scale) from the 28thmelakarta scaleHarikambhoji, and is sometimes spelled asYadukulakambhoji orYadukulakambhodi. It is ajanya scale, as it does not have all the sevenswaras (musical notes) in the ascending scale. It is a combination of the pentatonic scaleShuddha Saveri and thesampurna raga scaleHarikambhoji.[1][2]
Yadukulakamboji is an asymmetric rāgam that does not containgandharam andnishadam in the ascending scale. It is anaudava-sampurna rāgam (orowdava rāgam, meaning pentatonic ascending scale).[1][2] Itsārohaṇa-avarohaṇa structure (ascending and descending scale) is as follows:
