Xuanzhou Wu (Chinese:宣州吳語;pinyin:Xuānzhōu Wúyǔ) is the westernWu Chinese language, spoken in and aroundXuancheng,Anhui province. The language has declined since theTaiping Rebellion, with an influx of Mandarin-speaking immigrants from north of theYangtze River.
