TheXining Joint Logistics Support Center (西宁联勤保障中心) located inXining City,Qinghai Province is the local supreme organ of theJoint Logistics Support Force at theWestern Command of thePeople's Liberation Army, at acorps-deputy grade.[1]
In 1977, theLanzhou Military Area Logistics Department first base was established as the PLA 25th Logistic subunit (MUCD Unit 84906). In 1981, it was transferred to Xining City Yangjia Port area.[2]
As part of the2015 military reforms, the Joint Logistics Support Force was established in January 2016. Its principal organ was theWuhan Joint Logistics Support Base.[3] On 13 September 2016, the five main Joint Logistics Centers atWuxi,Guilin, Xining,Shenyang andZhengzhou were established as the subordinate units of the Wuhan JLSB.,[1] using the existing logistic units of the Theaters.
