Xinglong County (simplified Chinese:兴隆县;traditional Chinese:興隆縣;pinyin:Xīnglóng Xiàn) is a county in the northeast ofHebei province, bordering themunicipalities ofBeijing to the west andTianjin to the southwest. It is under the administration of theprefecture-level city ofChengde, with a population of 270,000[1] residing in an area of 3,116 km2 (1,203 sq mi).
