Xiao County orXiaoxian (simplified Chinese:萧县;traditional Chinese:蕭縣;pinyin:Xiāo Xiàn) is a county in the north ofAnhui Province, China, bordering the provinces ofJiangsu to the north and northeast andHenan to the west. It is under the administration of theprefecture-level city ofSuzhou. It was formerly part ofJiangsu province, under the administration ofXuzhou. It became part of Anhui province in 1950.
In the present, Xiao County has 18 towns and 5 townships.[1]
