Xelia Mendes-Jones is a British actor. He^[a] is best known for his main role as Dane in thePrime Video seriesFallout (2024).

Xelia Mendes-Jones is half Indian^[2] and grew up inLondon, England. He attended Coleridge Primary School^[3] andNorth London Collegiate School.^[4] He was ajavelin thrower with London Heathside^[5] and played youth football as a midfielder withTottenham Hotspur F.C. Women in the 2009–2010 season.^[6] He was offered a spot on Tottenham'sfirst team but declined the offer to pursue college. He is a fan ofArsenal.^[7]

Mendes-Jones went on to studyAnglo-Saxon,Norse, and Celtic (ASNaC) atSt Catharine's College, Cambridge,^[8] from 2016. He trained atIdentity School of Acting.^[2] While studying, he pursued modelling.^[7]

Mendes-Jones was praised for his performance as Renna^[1] in the 2021Prime Video fantasy seriesThe Wheel of Time.^[9] He appeared as a featured actor alongsideMaisie Williams in the music video for "She's on My Mind" byRomy, released in December 2023.^[10][11]
